A beautiful replica of the iconic dress worn by Marilyn while she sang Happy Birthday to President Kennedy.
The dress features a top layer of hand dyed silk gauze that has been embellished with over 6,000 rhinestones in a loose rosette pattern, exactly like the original. It has a second layer of hand dyed lightweight silk and will be lined with an opaque satin.
The dress, while fitted and flattering like the original, will allow you to move freely, unlike the original.
Current photos of the dress show the progress, but the dress is not completely finished. I will be adding the final lining to finish the dress as well as more rhinestones and the back zipper closure.
